A referral service, not a repair company

About Domesticlewis Restoration and How Referrals Work

Who we are

Domesticlewis Restoration is a referral service for homeowners with water in the house. We connect you with independent local providers. That is all we do. We do not send out workers, and we do not do the repairs.

Why this site exists

Most people have never hired a water damage provider before. The first call often happens on a stressful day. It is hard to know what to ask or what a fair answer sounds like.

So we built a calm place to start. Here you get plain answers first. You learn what to ask, what good answers sound like, and what red flags look like. Then you pick a provider on your own terms.

How matching works

You tell us what happened and where you live. We point you to providers in our network who serve your area. You talk to a provider directly. You can talk to more than one.

We suggest you compare, then decide. Two or three conversations give you a good feel for the options.

What we expect from providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

  • Explain the job in plain words
  • Give a written estimate that lists what is included
  • Be honest about timing and what they can take on
  • Hold the licenses and insurance their state requires
  • Respect your choice, even if you pick someone else

A provider that cannot meet these basics is not a good fit for homeowners we refer.

What we do not do

We do not do the work. We do not set prices. We do not promise how fast a provider can arrive. Availability varies, so ask each provider directly.

We also do not decide your insurance claim. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

How we are paid

We are a referral service. A provider in our network may pay us when we connect them with a homeowner. You do not pay us to use this site. The estimate you get comes from the provider, and you can say no with no obligation.

Get connected

If water is in your home now, start with a call. Request a callback to check provider availability in your area. If you would rather write first, request an estimate and a provider can reach out.
